Yeah, very impressive, especially considering the 701 probably puts down about 60bhp at the wheel.

I've got a pair waiting to go on the Beta for the Pyrenees trip in September.

Phil swears by them too. (He stands next to the tyres and says "fuck, bollocks, wank....")

Phil can vouch for the tyre too as it went down to his place and back in April.

Haha, I bet he does.

60hp at the back wheel and the rest, usually high 60's with road tyres, doesn't take much to get them into the mid 70's, all according to Youtube of course, never had mine tested. ;)

Are the Razorbacks E marked for road use?

I seem to have joined the club :) :)

2016 model, and must say it is excellent on the trail. On the road the speed at which it accelerates with some revs on is quite something, very entertaining.

My only complaint is that its not the smoothest of engines and though will hit a ton with a gear to go, it doesn't offer a relaxed motorway cruise in 6th. Fortunately I don't do that normally anyway.

Excellent, yes they do feel a bit undergeared at first, could do with an overdrive 6th but you get used to it. Mines 1 tooth lower on the back as 9mph on tickover was just a tad high for trail riding.

If only I hadn’t recently bought Kriega stuff, the mosko was determined as too many dollars lol then

Sorry 😐

Ironically I was wondering if I could gear it up a smidge! 1st is fine for me, though 2nd is too high already, what a dilemma.... ;)
