I just sold my bullit 250 single to upgrade I wish I could have kept it I have to say great bike based on a Gs250 lots of smiles and no major issues. Purchased for 1700 and sold for 1200 still in great condition

Nice looking machine .... I have fancied getting one of them and turning it into a cafe racer

I had my eye on a 2 year old Mash 400 at £1500 instead of £3.5k new but missed out, ideal for putting in the back of the van for pottering around the Peaks and Dales.

I've been considering doing that myself, put it in back of van head up to Scotland then start riding when the scenery gets really good

The guy that bought mine was going to convert it into a replica of a 70s 250cc ducati. Spares are easy enough to get hold of with a minimum cost, my wife has been on the back and it still handles and rides just fine. Don't get me wrong it's no speed machine, I'm more into a relaxed slow tour out no stress.

If you can get a good mash 400 for around 1500 that's great and again it's based on a proven engine the xbr500

It won't be long now till they become a proper contender for the big boys

i thought there wk450rx was a contender based on the crf450 engine and was with both sets of wheels surprised it didnt get many buys . but as said in other posts society now is stuck in the name branded way of buying things casue it as a name on it wether the quailty is good or not

I believe they need to get a manufacturer behind them in the UK to be taken seriously , seems to be lots of different Chinese manufacturers imported under one name , WK bikes importing Shineray , CF and others. The WK400 was initially priced at £4000+ , too much money but were finally sold off for about £2600 - too cheap to be considered by some people ! But I suppose it's big money to set up a proper marketing campaign , support network of dealers etc etc . I think Sinnis have tried to improve the image and reputation in the 125 market but are still an importer of several different manufacturers bikes with their name on the tank .

Yea can understand that what gets me the most is the fact that all the stuff we by comes from China and Korea etc and is just quality tested and name branded anyway so with good quailtly control they could be great bikes after reading the thread earlier about the wk400 that didn't have a cam pin in puts me off Chinese bikes a lot now that is bad quailtly control . I suppose that bike was built on Monday or Friday... I once read an article about not buying automotives which were built on monday or Friday as people at work on Friday just want the clock to turn and go home with there mind only set on the weekend were as Monday there coming back from there weekend and hang over etc so don't have there mind in the game ..hence the article saying your better of buying one built within the week ...

Saw these new offerings from the New reformed JAWA company, they are offering a model 350 OHC [actually 397] I am sure that these single cylinder twin port motors look like the MASH and other bikes using the Shineray type engine.

Looks like a lot of money and parts have been thrown at another company they are supposed to be available from F2 motorcycles
the engines seem to be getting a good reputation.

As mad hatter said at the beginning of the thread, we used to have a Chinese bike thread here.

I've since moved onto an F650 Funduro (and had a million more problems than my Chinese bike ever had ) but I've owned a few Sinnis 125s in the past. My apache was a fantastic little bike, I toured the lake district with a week's camping gear on the back, regularly Greenlaned and commuted everyday on it.
