I'm just getting back into mountain bikes. I went out for a 10 mile taster down the canal and came back totally caked in mud which I didn't really appreciate :(
I've only had the bike a few days and not had chance to take it in the muddy stuff, I'll keep you posted.

mtb ... o yes :shock: .. I remember now.. I have got one .. not used it for ... .. (can.t remember)

anyway .. I bought some mudguards, I think from Halfords ..ok too, but still get bits of mud.

Agree but they are a useful way to avoid roads and good when you have kids in tow.
