Yes Dave .. A van plus a light enduring type bike plus real knoblies is starting to really apeal.

When I stopped trailriding I had a van+husaberg 390 and a 1200gs for 2up touring and gravel roads.
Now, uk trailriding doesn't appeal but over the 15 years prior to that I always had 2 or 3 bikes to cover all types of use.
In all honesty the Honda CB500x should cover the middle ground of adventure type riding or a CRF500.

There's always a but
I buy masonry drills and resharpen the carbide to drill hardened steel, their very good at it and cheaper than getting a cobolt jobber drill.
