Lard

Post by qcnr »

Was tipped off by a mate about a weighbridge that is open to the public and free to use.
So, I knew my XL600V isn't slim, but with me on top and no more than half a tank of fuel
310kg :o :o
No wonder those 40 ponies have to work hard...
I with my riding gear and a rucksack tipped at 90kg
So time to look at something a bit lighter, or with a few more horses.

Looking up the specs it gives a little over 200Kg wet so maybe your bike is carrying bit of extra weight too [maybe too much oil]

EDIT Looking up the specs 50 to 55 Horses Shirley or have some escaped?

Get yourself a GS, as they seem to handle the extra Lard no problem

I have believed for a while now that this `weight` figures are as reliable as vw emission stats :D

You could wear lycra that would reduce the overall weight

Pffft Lightweight. I can beat that in my boxers but the police say I'm not to ride my bike like that any more
