Metal Radiator Guard
Not sure there was benefit in getting this. The standard bike comes with a plastic guard and the metal is a direct replacement. Maybe should have got an orange one.

Treat the exhaust like a consumable item if you're doing any decent offroad.
Get a centre stand it makes the whole bike far easier to work on, which you'll be doing when you remove the 32 bolts it takes to change out the air filter.
Get it remapped at Hilltop, you'll see a massive difference - as stock the secondary butterflies only open 75% when in open loop.

Hilltop bit far from me but could make the journey if worthwhile. £360 for a remap is a good slug of cash.
Excuse my ignorance but what's the butterfly stuff. Assume some sort of fully open throttle response ? I'm not riding too hard on road due to TKC80s and what scratching I have done was about as enthusiastic as I want to be (and that was running it in, managed to keep up with my buddy giving is Ducati 800 Monster a thrash). Off road I'm still finding my feet and throttle response is minimal (lucky to crack 40mph on the easy bits).

Only thing I haven't quite mastered are the bar risers. I'm 6'1" and have KTM 52mm risers on but about 10mm too low. Not stopping me getting out and about or standing up but think comfort could be improved slightly. Waiting for products or web content to give me some clues. Had the 40mm risers on my last bike, BMW GSA, and that was just about right.
Simple bracket, pushes pegs forward and down about half an inch

Footpeg lowering brackets were being fabricated by Martyred on Advrider, or could make your own
Also, check your coolant level. These bikes have a habit of "self bleeding" in the first 1000 miles, but then settle down. I also inserted a tap washer in top of expansion filler cap to stop any leakages (some have reported this).

The rad guard, I tried the metal one on my 950. It's better for airflow but because it's open it will fill your radiator with mud very quickly! The plastic one is much better for keeping crap out because of the fins.

KTM optional extra. Pretty sturdy and been tested with mud mounds and branches already. Looks OK too.

Think this will be my next bike , had a couple of test rides
And like it a lot , but a bit high for me could do with
a lower seat , but need to shift my 690 first.
