Yamaha Tenere 700
Powered by the MT-07’s 75bhp twin, the Tenere will be fractionally less powerful than the Tiger or F800GS, but it’s also likely to be cheaper and, importantly, lighter, making it a more tempting proposition for off-road use. Just like its forefathers were. The use of that engine means that an A2 licence legal, 47bhp version is sure to be available as well.

Re: Yamaha Tenere 700
Wouldn't have thought so, my 125 fares ok on motorways so I can't imagine a 700 would have any problemspetecam wrote:Interesting times, there is also the KTM 790 ADV coming and the all new GS850 (900)?
Is the Tenere 700 just a little too weedy for motorway work though?

Open your eyes and you see what is in front of you, open your mind and you see a bigger picture but open your heart and you see a whole new World.

Re: Yamaha Tenere 700
The 700 engine is perfectly comfy on motorways ( more than can be said for the seat on my XSR) ..it will cruise all day at 80 ....it will also return over 60mpg even in my hands....petecam wrote:Interesting times, there is also the KTM 790 ADV coming and the all new GS850 (900)?
