Mr Cowling, cheers for getting in touch. I will call you later today with regard to meeting up. I took it for a 10 mile shakedown road run yesterday and it went like a showroom bike does which it basically is with 54 miles on the engine. I will have to confess here to being a light weight with regard to the weather and especially the temp, I froze my hands off at +1 degree's while riding it and I will have to dig out my winter kit. Been a while since I road in these temps (20+ years in Cornwall)...!!!

Got out for a few hours with mez on his crf500l mini twin, on new years eve. We'll chuffed to have a go on it, after owning a std crf250l for over three years and 11000 miles, what a very different beast it is with a 500 parallel twin power plant, as usable off road, but on the open trail and tarmac the 500 engine gives the crf everything that it lacks as a 250, nicely spread gearing, with a very smooth and broad power delivery, that seams to go on for ever, I was very impressed with its performance and the build quality, we'll done mez
Hi spadger, sorry you didn't get out? But I'm planning on getting out locally on the Lanes on a more regular basis this year, so let me know if your out anytime and we'll meet up.
Regards Neil.

Kind words and valued as an ex CRF rider, we will have to get a local crew going for this year especially when the conditions improve and there’s no sheet ice and boggy fields..!!!

Cracking looking bike. Do you have any idea of the actual weight of the bike. As a CB500X with the RR3 Kit owner that weighs in around 200Kg +/- I would love something lighter like the CRF.
Thanks
