I've got a aprilia falco sl it's got 30000 miles on it and I just love the way it handles, it's got to be one of the most under rated bikes I have ever owned, very reliable great engine slightly less power than it sister the Millie but never the less still a cracker, I've just increased the height of the bar with a kit I bought off line just so I can keep riding the beast.
Love this as much as the Africa twin
What's you think is the best under rated bike you have owned

Re: What's you think is the best under rated bike you have owned
Few enjoyed the XJ900 series bar those of us who'd been knocked on the head or despatch riders. I've had a 900F and three Diversions, it excells at nothing yet if going distance on a budget is your thing...
The engines are good for 6 figure mileages, the shaft limits fettling on the go, the seat is more comfortable than most, the panniers do a job. The only problem was it was under-rated by Yamaha too.

For me it has to be the old Yamaha 1000 Exup, I loved everything about that bike and would still be happy to have one as a second bike!

The bike I have now Varadero 1000 ,for me its my ideal bike comfortable , reliable , stable at high motorway speed , best head light Iv ever had on a bike. I wouldn't hesitate to go out and buy another one tomorrow if mine ever got stolen of smashed .
Plus when looking at second hand prices you can pick alot of bike up for little money.
