I know what you mean, I did a 24 hour enduro with mine and loved every minute, I thought my arms would drop off at the end though

Transalp 600. Effectively rejected here in the UK as the market was dominated by sports bikes in the 80s, but the Honda was loved all across Europe. First time I took mine over in around 83-4, they seemed like fleas on a dogs back in comparison to back here in Blighty.

The better bike is next to you Johnny ;)
Since when were either of those 'under rated' ? OP may have been expecting 'Jawa 350' or 'Honda 250 Superdream' in the replies

Jon
Well said sir, I was thinking the same thing.
The Yamaha FZS1000 Fazer wasn't underrated in its day either.

I had an Africa Twin back in the day, now that was underrated by both press and sportsbike mad bike buyers alike.

Suzuki GSX750F aka the teapot  looks only a mother could love but reliable and easy to service, no water cooling, no ABS, no EFI :P keep meaning to get another one as winter transport.

I had the GSXF600 (the one with the baboon's arse) in metallic yellow/green.That was probably my most underrated bike.Plenty fast enough in the real world and all day long comfortable.I even liked the colour. :)

Underrated but loved
GSX750F the teapot, almost a fast as a gixer but with comfort.
TDM900, bought mine as a stopgap bike and kept it for 4 years and 40k miles. If they still made them I'd have one tomorrow. Way ahead of its time.
Honda Silverwing 600, yep it's a scooter but I can't leave the damned thing alone.

Kawasaki KLE500, my first big bike after passing my test on a H plate. Wouldn't believe where I managed to get it on road tyres, but heavy really for serious offroad but good fun, nice and stable at motorway speeds, popular on the Continent I believe but didn't take off over here.

My ccm 404. It's gone through swamp with the 2 strokes , it's cruses down the motorway and is cheap as chips
