Just bought xt660z 0n a 63 plate is your dipped beam meant to go out when you go on to full beamImage

Yes,but there is a wiring mod you can do so both stay on together. Unfortunately I read it on the now closed xt660.com forum but someone should know.
I never modified mine as I'm always planning to fit driving lamps 🙄

You'll notice you can keep the dip beam on and activate the high beam via the pass/flash switch simultaneously to see if it is worth doing the modification.

Does anyone know do I have to buy a back plate fit a back box bought a universal lextech at mcm ingilston yesterday don't think its going to fit

My previous owner made his own, using the rear grab handles holes and the rear most subframe holes, beside the rear plastic or latch.
Sheet of alloy plate,4 spacers,4 countersunk bolts.
Those extra holes in it are just for attaching a dry bag when not using the top box.
