got it a few months ago but the rebound was too weak and spring was too soft

got around to taking it in and they dis a great job of putting it right now has a 100kg spring and proper rebound stack done

so they now have a template to work off as they built the shock from sctratch copying the o/e i posted them

http://firefoxracing.co.uk/

i have a ractech on the 300 and the yss is just as good ....

catcitrus wrote:For you CRF250 Rally owners (inspired by scooby who has tested his standard bashplate pretty well already) I'm going to do a carbon/kevlar bashplate "skin" to reinforce the standard one--to go over it and up the sides a bit if possible (to protect when lying down)--retaining the existing side plastics . I have a new bashplate from Fowlers to do the modelling. Its a complex front mount which will be difficult to replicate in a complete replacement--hence the approach--but the original slots into the frame at the rear so is pretty solid anyway--so the idea is to make the original much more rock and scrape resistant by strategically bolting on a close carbon/kevlar form that will take more abuse. It will just involve about 4 M8 holes in the original plastic--which is too full of holes already for proper offroad in my opinion. It will take time--and hopefully be of interest?--its making the mould thats the hard bit. I know that there is an Oz replacement form out there in alloy--but expensive in my opinion, especially with shipping. This would do the job well I'm sure--but it really depends on your intended use.
Looking forward to seeing it Chris. Keep up the good work.

Does anyone know what connector fits on that plug by the fork in Bob's photo?
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

This one........

but I suspect like me you'd rather just find the connector only. I'm still hunting for it :D

Yeah I don't fancy paying 30 buck plus airfreight and tax for a £3 connector...

I did think it was this:

But I don't think it is now.

(actually it was the cheapy `commuter` ones}
for £45
and take one side panel off
and thread the leads through to the battery.

seriously .. while `plugs` are mentioned here ..

can anyone tell me what charging connector item I need, to fit crf250`L` (sorry to hijack)
presumably a connection lead to the battery,
with a fuse?
and an end thingy that I can plug a mobile phone to
(and, possibly in future, gps .. perhaps separate?) + an extra?

I have seen pics of twin usb outlets, but don't know how that all works,
does it automatically give the correct mA output, or is there a transformer inbuilt?

cheers :)
