Hi Gary,

I replied in the CRF250L thread :)
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

Excellent. How do you think this engine will improve the bike?

a wireless he he ...have you got one in your anderson shelter as well phil :D

engine is much stronger off the bottom ...its pretty touqey ..i know what topexpect as ive already done a 250l ... took it out last nisgt with high gearing on and it braaaps on ok for sure it has a official 7hp more ..but its main asset is low down tourque .
.got a bit exited just threw the seat on loose no bodywork ....forgot stoodup on the cart track and ....err no seat

only snags were no rev counter ....no tickover ..so a bit of a faff resetting the tps with the jumpwires and mil blink s ect
filling the coolant with the pump drain plug undone ....grrrrrrr :?:
took me quite a while to extend wiring and change connectors

all in all its plug and play engine throttle body and ecu ....

big lift in low down power ...good comparason to the 250s..its making as much tourque at 4k as a wr250r is at 8 ..thts why it works so well off road ..it will cruise all day in the low 70s

as a other benifit ive a verry acceptable spare engine now that will slot in to either bike ..i will now consider selling the 250l engine so its a pretty cheap mod
