Ok - confession time !!
I've got an R65 which I bought last year for a grand and when I get the time I intend to turn it into something like the photo I've (hopefully managed to) attach.
It'll take a bit of time and a few grand to strip down, give the engine a proper going over, vapour clean or similar, de-lug the frame, powder coat, refurb the wheels, new clocks, bars, seat etc
Once its complete It'll get used for me and the Mrs to bimble along the coast road on sunny Sunday afternoons - It certainly won't get used for trips like we're going on next month to Spain and France - my 800GS is perfect for that.
Some of the ones on eBay really are taking the mick at the prices they are asking - but if that's what it's worth to someone and they want to part with their hard earnt then crack on

Looking at the pics it looks fairly well done
If I was a young creative type pulling in 4 figures a week, pay attention to my beard & spend sunny evenings walking my French Bulldog between art galleries & artisan coffee houses.....why not!
Unfortunately I'm middle aged, my tattoos were from a parlour down an alleyway, I look like Captain Birdseye if I grow a beard & although I appreciate retro......I expect to buy it at car boot sale prices :pinch:
