My wife said she knew I wouldn't buy it when I told her how much safer it would be riding slower.
Probably going for a 6 yr old BMW G650GS. Same height, same weight, twice the BHP and more torque.
Not keen on the look of the GS, I actually prefer the looks of the Himalayan but I don't have to look at it if I'm riding it.
😂
Hi Freddy, I’ve actually just sold my G650gs however I do have a few bits I’ll be selling for one if you’re interested:
Metal mule pannier rails and top rack
Ali panniers
Upper crash bars
If you’re in the market for any of the above let me know.
Regards, Gary.

Thanks all,

We managed just over 400 miles this Weekend down to Somerset and back. I have to say I love it even more, for a small bike it does so much, Comfy seat and a great engine. Off for its 1st service tomorrow

Thanks for the reports! Interesting that the bike appears to cope well with two up riding.

My planned test ride was foiled by the weather couple of weeks back (beast from the east lol) when the dealer said he wouldn't allow the bike to be taken out in the snow cos of insurance etc. Thought it funny him saying that cos I was quite happy to ride 30 miles from the Peak District for this test ride on my XT225. Anyway, hoping during next week I can book it again..

The lands end trial looks great but not me I'm afraid! XF glad ur looking to have another test ride, mines had its first service and I've been riding it in some pretty heavy rain the last few days to and from work. It holds the road well with the pirelli mt60s. Let me know how your ride goes
