If everyone is blaming the drop in value of the pound maybe we should buy British goods.... if you want a bike get a ..... er..... um..... or a washing machine buy a er...... um ..... or even a telly........ get my drift !!!
It will be alright in the end.... if it's not alright.. it's not the end !

The issue with buying British now is that many of the products that we buy still have a lot of their components made abroad. Most cars I think it is something between 40 and 60% of the parts are made abroad and a significant proportion of these from Europe. I think Norton have one of the highest percentage of British mad components. Not much of my CCM is actually made in Britain.
Still I am sure everyone is happy to pay their part in securing our future 'indepence'

The 'all American' Harley Davidson is now only 30% American, the remaining 70% of parts coming from elsewhere.
Current bike is a Yamaha T7

We did, and they were! As i remember they also tried to increase the balloon payment a bit after we signed the finance agreement, and got told to fuck off by me and smudge. To be fair our dealer was very good, and i think he sold two more bikes to people that we recommended to him, so everyone was happy!

price hike has nothing to do with pound - increase is in all Europe
and will be every year unless EU goes (hopefully) to hell.
