Because they think people will pay, regardless.
Make something to sell for £100, then after a while find out people would be willing to
pay £150 without making changes. Announce the new version for £150 and it will still sell.

Its popular so they can charge more and maybe the weak pound has made a difference?
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

Weaker pound (wonder why?) ;)

They will use that as justification anyway........

I have a friend who specialises in Japanese imports to the UK, he's been hit hard recently.

Perhaps they need to cover their costs for rusty spokes and dodgy switch gear on the "old model" It certainly wasn't going to come from Honda's own pocket was it?

My brother just sent me a link for a 2002 triumph daytona with 30k miles and the asking was 2200. The market has gone mad by the looks of it. In 2012 i brought a 08 plate cbr 600 rr for 3.5k but sold it in 2015 for 4k. What is going on..

I remember the Japanese Imports in the nineties when the prices went through the roof, I had one a VFR800 and it never missed a beat in 40k.
I can see it coming again.
But I'm old so what do I know, :woohoo: :silly: :woohoo: :silly:
