Husaberg 's

Post by Spadger »

Anybody have any experience of husabergs, looking at them there's a few for sale at a decent price , looking at the 450's , I fancy an alternative to my wee Crf250l when I'm out with the boys

Had a 2003 fe450 great bit of kit, was temperamental though, my mates nicknamed it the Doodlebug (never new when it was going to stop) had about 2 years of unreliability until KTM center fitted a new £4 gasket on the carb, never let me down again! I'm imagining that they are more sorted now.

Most of them
Are 2004 s I'm seeing with the earlier engine it's the price
That's attractive I
Did like my 450 Ktm but that had its temperamental moments and come in a bit dearer if I can find something reasonable I might be able to persuade the missus to let me squeeze something in garage

The very early ones had issues so avoid 2004. 2006 on are good, 2011 excellent. Just about all parts are KTM.
