Anybody have any insight into how likely it is, that the production Item will be close to the concept Bike?
The concept T7, hits a few spots for me, depending on weight, sub 180kg would be gooood.
power wise, Id be happy with 65-ish REAL HP, as long is was nice and tractable with a nice mid-upper surge for the coal tip climbs
Yamaha, in my experience tends to get suspension right more often than not (are they still using Kayaba components?)
If they can keep a decent off-road bias to it, as the concept bike appears to have, then it could be the one.
Always got on with Yamaha, maybe because Iv'e never had a yamaha I didn't like,it could be the first New Bike I have bought in many a year.
Yamaha T7
Re: Yamaha T7
If they price it right, they will sell millions and if their MT pricing is anything to go by it will be a huge hit, I would be very confident they will produce it, sub 180kgs though I doubt.
The price will be subject to the suspension, cause as good a bike as the tenere is, the sussies are appalling when the going gets rough, I know this from experience.

There is simply not the market to "sell millions"RandG wrote:If they price it right, they will sell millions and if their MT pricing is anything to go by it will be a huge hit, I would be very confident they will produce it, sub 180kgs though I doubt.
