I have been searching for a while for a trail bike to replace my DR350 but absolutely nothing new appeals to me and I know the 350 inside out so that's staying.
Same in the middleweight department, still love the DR650, so much so that I bought a 2012 model yesterday to replace (or live alongside ) my '96 model.
I can honestly say that there is not a new bike that interests me (at the moment).

I don't we'll still alive in 2102 let alone thinking about doing off roading :S
Have you still got the KTM as I cant see me replacing mine with anything newer not for a long time

They don't make films like they used to either..."Back to the future" was one of my favourites as a young teenager.

Yes, i know the feeling.
I have had 3 Tiger 955i's over the years no matter what I buy I keep coming back ( they just suit me and feel right).
I now own a XT660z tenere and love it to bit's but still wish I had my Tiger.
I also miss my FZs1000 Fazer (2005)
May be time to fill the garage as they can all be bought cheap enough now.
New deffo isn't all ways better (my 2011 1200 tenere good but not what I want)

I sold my 955i Tiger back in 2012 because I fancied a change. It took a few tries but my current big ADV bike, which I bought is 2014, matches it as a 'best allrounder'. Very happy memories of the Tiger so I completely understand why you kept it. I went down the route of changing to a '1 bike solution' for touring/commuting/off roading then realised my riding preferences were better met with 2 bikes too.
