been offered a deal ...a low mileage year 16 africa twin manual for my same age same mileage tenere with panniers....3500 change over..sweating it...any opinions to sway me either way apreciated

so different.quite like the tenere standard .i suppose i should try get another test drive i wasnt too sure about it the first time....its a winter in front of the computer thing...but i could just about afford the 3500 and it would be a stress free changeover,if only i was happy about the (gerabox issues) if any ? the spokes i can deal with

Has the one whose name should not be mentioned on ABR still got his Africa Twin as he is probably the best person for you to have a chat and and pint with to discuss the pros and cons of the bike.

I've rode and rebuilt tenere for a few years, I love them, so easy to work on, the new tenere has never gave me the incentive to have one, not that I wouldn't have one maybe some day, I do have the new twin, I'm not at all disappointed with it, I can't say what one is best as I have not rode the new tenere,
