Hi Bob, pleased you are getting on well with the Alp.

The Regs are out for the March Hare and Wyegate (tonight), will you be there ?

Hi I owned one for just over 2 years, trail riding only. The clutch would fade on trick climbs mostly, tried different oil brands etc. Put an EBC clutch and heavier springs. Put another generic clutch in. Also drilled the basket so the oil would circulate better, never cured it. On the whole it was a canny bike. went through water seat height (helped cool the clutch). The suspension also let it down for what I was doing.
It seemed to break front mudguards regularly duh.
I've noticed on the Suzuki 200 Van Van (same engine) there is an oil cooler fitted.
