I have an mt09 tracer for motorways one longer journeys and for the local stuff a BMW Xcountry 650.

I am desperately looking for a third bike but can't decide what I want. Been thinking of a doer upper like an old z650 pr a magna v65 or maybe chopping something into a bobber. Something with loads of torque could be nice if anyone can recommend something. As a new rider I don't know the history of bikes like you guys so it's hard to pick. Also am 6'1" so not too small either.

Had a go on a triumph legend which seemed to tick boxes but it was too small.

Maybe this below looks like a nice third machine.

Three's plenty to look after properly and ride enough.....

MT 09 - for Sunday fun - probably a great bike but not sure it's a keeper
CRF 250X - great trail and occasional enduro bike
TTR 600 - brilliant all rounder - especially with the massive Acerbis tank just fitted

So it looks like the Bultaco 350 that get money chucked at it but never used, and the 'stalled project' DT175 need the elbow this year :)

My 3 are totally different. XTZ1200 for touring and having fun, Silverwing scooter for commuting and two up bimbling about and Cannondale mountain bike for health and muddy stuff.
I don't need any more :-)

I too am looking for a 3rd bike.
I currently have a 2016 BMW GSA and a 2013 Triumph Street Triple.
The GSA is a keeper and will hopefully run it in to th ground. The Street doesnt get used much at all. Its done 5k miles and 2k of them were on a week trip so think I need to sell and get something different but probably still a naked/super naked.
It's the 3rd I'm having problems with..I don't know whether to try off roading as its something Ive never done. Not sure whether I'd like it and there arent too many places in Norfolk you can go off road without getting shot at by the farmers..Or the other option is a custom/bobber. Love the look of the new Triumph Bobber. I think it is the best looking bike they have made in years.

I could get down to 3 if I could decide which 3
Taking the Mrs out- Harley Evo FLH or Varadero
Bumbling through the lanes-Harley (sunny dry), Transalp 600/650 (all weathers), CB750F2, CX650
Classic-Harley,transalp 600(87), CB750F2(92), CX650(85)
Longer runs- Harley, Vara, Transalp 650 depends on road type

one will always be a Transalp but which one?
2 & 3 ??
