Footrest hanger was the main clue.... I've had a few XJR's over the years, the first being a 1200 back in 1995.

I put my XJR together out of parts bought from the owners club and ebay and used one of my FJ1200 engines that i rebuilt to XJR spec.
It's now using the FJ front end and the XJR front end is on the XS. Something that wasn't really planned but worked well for both bikes.

Looks good and sounds interesting 👍
XJROC is a good club, I've been in it for yonks and was treasurer for a while but that was ages ago. Still have my 1300SP which I got in 1999....
