Greetings,

Wheel bearings can normally be obtained from any reputable engineering bearing supplier, typically I use SKF which my local supplier in Stockport normally has in stock, or can get very quickly;

A 'milky' texture is not uncommon and is quite normal for fork oil over time, as the unit moves through rebound air can be drawn in past the seals. Since air has water vapour eventually it contaminates the oil. You can replace the oil with suspension specific oil or even automatic transmission fluid, depends upon your preferences.

Oops. Just checked wheel bearing boxes and I've got them the wrong way round in the above two postings.

Try this picture as marked up correctly

Replaced many wheel bearings on enduro/trail/trial bikes, always ordered bearings with rubber shields (2RS) and always reused the old outer dust seals.

Yep use 2rs all the time and repack with grease when new.... A dentist tooth pick helps remove the seals lol
