Started commuting to work on my bike to find I think 3 issues

Tank forming a vacuum
TPS not dialed in as I thought
Tick over a little low

I experienced cutting out on a low tank under certain conditions that as soon as I brimmed my tank went away

I removed the brass cup and ball bearing and then opened up the small hole. I have actually further opened up the fuel cap after looking at an Aprillia forum and I'm happy to say it's sorted that problem

I'll get some more photos when some fuel tank baffle arrives I was going to place in the opened up hole to stop fuel on a very full tank coming up the hole so easily .

I've found all the screws to be JIS not Philips

Whilst trying to fiddle with the idle screw the aluminium throttle body had oxidised around the screw. I eventually got it out and have since replaced it with an M5 25mm grub screw as it makes adjusting it with an Allen key and locking it in position with an 8mm locking nut

I have found winding the screw all the way out, setting the TPS to .78 and fettling with the adjustment screw has sorted the cutting out issue.

I've also doubled up on the oil coolers by taking off the mounting plates and using M6 X 160 bolts and bolting the two together

I've fitted an oil temperature guage I'll get a photo of tomorrow so I can see if I'm now over cooling the oil

Andi asked if the could get trapped air and if I'm honest I don't know. I check with my hand the heat feels evenly spread but as they're so small it would be hard to tell.

As the system is a dry sump I found by chance when I changed a fitting the bottom radiator drains back to the engine once the engine is off so it drains and refills everytime you start and stop the engine.

Just wish I knew what the oil temps were before the oil coolers were fitted and where the guage is fitted in place of the dispstick it reads the cooled oil not the oil coming out of the engine

Fitted a 4mm spacer so I can now tighten down the seat front bolt without pulling so much into the fabric of the seat

Is the engine getting too hot and cutting itself out? Reason I ask is I've noticed since tuning the bike as we have spirited dual carriage way riding gets the bike pretty hot.
I think it is getting hot but don't think that's the reason it's cutting out as it starts again as soon as I switch the ignition off and on again.

It feels like it's a rev limiter kinda thing.

The standard one is a tad fast I’m surprised an mot station hasn’t mentioned it yet.
