Re: WK400 owners thread.
Well I hope you both enjoy the trip and post a few images to make us all jealous.

Thanks, it certainly has.Andi_Archer wrote: ↑Mon May 14, 2018 7:58 pm Your bikes certainly got you out and about Tyrant ,nice images
Can't think of another bike I'd rather have right now. Front suspension could be better but probably needs fork oil and seals doing as I've never had it done.
Out today for another 120 miles. Over to RAF Alconbury . All bar 10 miles were on b roads. So much fun. The IT is really grippy for a knobbly. Ran them on the 640 and also have them on the EXC
Still have the.kenda on the rear as the 18" IT is still enroute. Can't seem to kill it.

Re: WK400 owners thread.
Im sure one other other owners mentioned his was rather milky looking [water contamination] when he changed the fork oil.You could try a thicker oil like 10 or 15 w to stiffen them up if they are a tad soft when the time comes.
Re: WK400 owners thread.
I did my fork oil December last year, huge difference, i had lots of knocking over bumps before but found in my view there was too much oil in each fork, fork oil replaced 5w-360ml each leg-original 460ml.................the old oil was not great but it goes through lot, no water or milky look to mine just really black which is probably due to the spring rubbing inside the stanchion
Now very smooth no knocking worth checking, easy enough job and will do more frequently

Re: WK400 owners thread.
Has any budding WK400 owner changed the front wheel bearings, mine have a bit of play with only 5300 miles. Not sure if a bit of play is ok but assuming its not wondered if xr400 bearings would be the right size ?........dont really want them from WK would rather fit a recomended make......any advice welcomed...........

You could remove then and either read the size printed on them or measure them and source from a reputable merchant.
