if you are tracking numbers of wk400's (and I like the idea of a group) then I reckon you may as well make if for all the Shineray 400xy variants - so (less common but they are visible on the web in Europe and I have heard of three in Northern Ireland - the Geon GrandTour and the (far more prevalent [as I own one but have NEVER seen another] the Mash 400R Adventure....which is what I ride. 6500 kms up and a few stories to tell but (apart from the noise) a great bike to ride....

Still loving my little WK400. Tappets done at the weekend very minor adjustment at 5000 miles. Chain and sprockets wearing very well which is a surprise but helps with 29hp........
Tyres are now great as they have come into there own since the raised rear center tread has worn inline with the rest of the tyre profile, i can see these doing more than 10k with ease........
Did some fettling on the exhaust heat shield as it always looked a bit flat to me so drilled some neat holes and tapered the edge then gave a coat of satin heatproof enamel and feel it lifts the look, matches the holes in the side panel

Cant say I have seen any others WK400s around here, its a pity they didn't bring any newer versions over to the UK.
Enjoy your trip wont it be a tad cold in October?

Did the Ypres Salient/Passchendale last August on the Wk. It didn't miss a beat.
Approaching 7k now on the same chain/sprockets and back tyre. Front has been replaced with a maxxis IT. The rear would've but waiting for an 18 in the bike shop. Still life in it.
This August the plan is Dunkirk to Amsterdam on the TET up to Leuuwarden, over to the Mohne Dam. Down to Kleine Brogel then to Florennes. Back to visit Vimy ridge ( strongly suggest you visit, it's stunning), Thiepval and Lochnager then back to Dunkirk
