That's what I did. Put the rental adventure high bars on. Very nice with a set of Rox risers. It's the most comfortable off road bike in my stable now.

Think it's a common feature of Greenlaned bikes , ours have similar due in most part to my wife breaking hers then breaking mine while I fix hers it's a never ending circle , I'm gonna chop off the stops on the pegs so they fold in more

[video][/video][video][/video] seen this before online ..id be tepted to cut the o/e hangar off completly and grind it level to the frame
fabricate a plate with a new hangar and weld the plate across the frame ..
id guess a local metel fabricator would take around two hours to do..but it looks doable ..should be good and strong after

Finally joined the Honda CRF250L club today.
Picked up a nice 2013 bike with 3200km. Had been stored in a barn over winter so looked a bit shabby, but after getting it home and a good wash, it's cleaned up very nice.
A few extras have been fitted by the previous owner include:-
FMF exhaust, EJK ( Electronic Jet Control Kit), AXP Bash Plate, UFO Hand Guards, 13/42 Sprockets, small led rear light unit. Tyres are nearly new Michelin Enduro Competition, but not sure they will last long on mixed road / off-road.
Runs very well and sounds great for a little 250.
Just need to process the change of ownership papers, insurance, a full service oil, filters, etc and will be ready for a trip next week.
Have been looking for one for ages without travelling 500/1000km, and this one came up less than 50km away this week.
A few mods to do after reading the CRF250L Thread, very interesting info.
These little bikes seem to be getting very popular for a simple dual-sport bike.

The rear tyre won't last long at all....I use them on my Gas Gas for enduros.....they wear quick enough on tarmac.

got some nice extras on it ..13/42 is a bit extream i reacon ..i ran 13/40 and that will allow a cruise in the sat nav low 60s all day long

when the chain went i moved it on to 14/43 which is more or less the same but prefer the 14 on the front for the sake of wear
if you go into realy steep tight stuff it take 5 mins to drop an 13 on the front and it will pretyy much climb anything you point it at

but for general trail riding 13/40 is well good enough

you may be surprised i used a kenda trackmaster in albania and it went 4000 miles ...me drz would kill one in less than half that ...you can use some pretty extream tyres and they hold up well

I still have the original sprockets, well all the original stuff he changed, so no problem to go back.
Looking forward to getting out into the Pyrenees on it, had a short ride on a trail around the farm today and went really well. I think it hasn't been on the road for 3 years. Was covered in dust etc when I looked at it this morning. The first time ever I looked at a bike or car that's being sold that hasn't been cleaned and polished !!
Not really sure what the EJK does, but it seems to work ok.
