Honley has a 15" rear wheel as standard which limits the tyre choice just a bit ...
Yeah there's CMPO and this place, they normally work out cheaper but have less trick bits (thumbs)

I've no connection with them just good service from them.

Thanks for that MH - wasn't paying attention :cheer:

I've been lucky so far and not had problems getting bits although sometimes from "generic" sources , ie when they want £120 for a master cylinder as the mirror boss has broken and Ebay provides just the clamp part you need for £3.50 B)

Looks like it managed that OK Glenn , after that Spain should be a walk in the park (thumbs) Be interested to see what you think of the seat comfort afterwards , felt good on my quick test ride .

I had a test ride and in my opinion the WK does not respond well to a "test ride" of accelerating up through the gears etc - feels very "flat" compared with a DRZ400 or similar in the same situation . But once I'd "given up on it" and just decided to just ride it back to the shop it comes together much better with a good riding position (I'm over 6 ft)and the feel of a much bigger bike on the road as Glenn said . Then you find its trundling along at 60+mph without any effort although in truth it probably doesn't have a lot more to give with a top speed of perhaps 75 mph ish ?

If I could have got a good px price on my 250 I would have bought one at the time although I'm not sure that just as a "trail bike" it would give me much more.

Be aware it is a tall bike with something like a 35" seat height - not sure how many Chinese chaps would reach the ground ;)

That looks nice any chance of a quick review of you about it?
I'll get to know it better next week but for now engine disappointing for a 400, runs nice from 3000 to 5500 rpm not worth reving higher as no power. It'll get along at 60 (or a little more ) and although it needs going through prepping bolt and nut threads cleaning up etc it does have some nice features as good value bike touring or offroading with gps arm mount up front wide pegs ali swingarm rim locks as standarf flexible indicators, large tank, comfy seat so far, feels bigger than it is when riding if that makes sense. Screen up front seems to help with at impression, takes the wind off a little so road sections a little less buffeting. £2600.

If you don't try and rev it then it will get along nicely, and you'll see 60+ and then watch the world go by. Think of them as a grunty 250 and not a bike with 400 type power speed, and you might just like them.

Had a test ride today on Pulse Adrenaline 250,
2015 model covered 6000km.
First impressions... Very comfy, nice riding position, no vibration through foot pegs or bars, plods along well on back roads.
I enjoyed the steady pace and had plenty of fun with in speed limits (thumbs)

Like that colour scheme B)

Notice no chain guard , reminded me that mine rubbed on the chain as I rode it away from the shop (PDI ??) and it needed trimming .

I found mine quite quick steering and the brakes a bit feeble , have been improved with a set of EBC "TT" organic pads . Replaced the rear chain early on as it showed signs of being a poor example but besides that no issues .

The two WK 400s left Le Havre this morning for the run down to Spain so a couple of weeks should provide an interesting ride report :)
