would like to hear some comments on the 800 if anybody has one.
I'd say the Triumph is a great bike I had one(edit....it was an XC in 2012) But I prefer my GS800.
The GS feels more solid and has a bit more Torque. But when the Triumph spins up its pretty lively.
If getting your wheels muddy isn't important to you....what about the 2016 Bonnevilles, nice and low and you can excessorize the crap out of'em.

Hopefully a used late model KTM exc/six days 350/400/450 to replace my lovely XR400 (which is up for grabs, PM me if anyone is interested) as I want something with a bit more grunt and a magic button as my hip is giving me a load of crap at the mo!

Love my s10, loads of torque, comfy and with cruise control a great tourer also handles well and does everything I want, but would be nice to have a lighter bike for bimbling about on so a yam mt07? Sat on one the other day and it felt like a moped after the S10

Have you no feelings? - what are you trying to say - and to add insult to injury you are going for a fatter model

i owned a 1200 for nearly 10 years,it was a keeper (thumbs)
but after building my 1100 i sold it as i always reached for the 1100 keys,
i get to ride a lot of bikes, imho, the twin cam 1200 is the best of them, the gearbox is lovely, the motor is just pokey enough,it all gels together to make a really fast cross country bike, there is good reason why this bike is a top seller ;)
for me though i prefer the less clinical ride,(agricultural)
more planted 1100 (thumbs)

Well I'm currently looking for a track bike and have to ring about one today.
I am also seriously looking at a couple of RGV250's and NSR250's to put in the garage because as someone has already says its money in the bank should I get the right one.
My next road going bike which I keep telling myself won't be this year will be either a GSA1200 or KTM1290 Super duke. After riding the GSA1200 LC a few months ago I was besotted but the Versys 1000 wasn't even a year old and they wanted my bike and 10k...

I'm quite happy with my 'tigger'! Costs me nothing apart from tax, insurance etc. Bought it just over 3yrs ago for £1300. Since..new chain sprockets, and upgraded coils for Denso Sticks. And replaced rear wheel which had corrosion. Don't think I've spent more than £150 since I've had it? Might not be a '100mph + Autobahn' cruiser like the latest offerings? But it gets me around.

Probably a Mk1 Versys 1000 to replace my current MK1 Versys 650, took one for a test ride recently and was very impressed by how nimble it was for a big bike, and the 4cyl 1000cc lump was so smooth compared to the 650, hopefully as dealers promote the new V1000 there will be a glut of MK1's coming onto the market as they are still a bit over priced in my opinion.
