It's for that reason that it's going to be a very slow project.tiger800xc wrote:so jealous would love a project but like sleeping in a nice warm bed too much as the mrs would chuck me out:(

Re: My Honda NX650 Dominator Project
Quick Update.
Cleaned out the choke port with Carb cleaner and an airline.
It now starts on the key!
Next step, reassembley and an MOT.
Backtracker has posted the link to those headlights he uses;

I like the Dual but it may look too much...
Cheers

The Rothmans paint job suits Africa Twins, I just don't know whether a Dommie could carry it.appleby wrote:Gives you a WHOLE second wind when they run at will - Starting to get jealous now!

I plan to get some miles under it and drop it a few times before I strip and paint it!

Re: My Honda NX650 Dominator Project
sounds like a wise decision Morph
no point doing a really nice paint job if you are planning on chucking it at trees etc

Re: My Honda NX650 Dominator Project
Latest update.
I have just taken the Dommie for its first MOT (with me), it failed.
The good news is that it's just the brakes
A quick strip and clean and I should be good to go.
Cheers
