Read this thread but it's took me 'til now to check my mileage.

Bought my 1150gs in April week before the Boil. I've since clocked up 4,200 miles.

Must be enjoying it as I only ride for pleasure (works van).

I know a few guys with sports bikes that only ride when the suns out, can't blame them for thst, 170bhp and wet roads don't mix well. They do run older bikes for the other times though, makes sense to me.

But, as long as we all enjoy every mile, however many, that's what counts.

2008 Gsa over 6000 miles since Oct 10 use it as much as I can.My work is 10 miles from home so i dont rack up big miles going to work.1 trip to ireland and a euro trip to start on Friday.Ride all year round if possible.whats the point of having a bike just sat in the garage.My dad 71 years young has a w reg 650gs with 6200 miles on the clock and i put over a 1000 on it when i borrowed it for 5 weeks.

I like to leave my bikes in the garage. The air filters make great beds for the critters. :whistle:
