The problem with older bikes in A1 condition is that the value starts to plummet as soon they are used 'properly'.

I wish someone would explain to me what the point is in owning bikes and not using them. They are fucking expensive, so why do so many not get their monies worth.

I've got one exactly the same - even to the colour

Just as mint, but 30k on it - had it from new

Only use it - May to Sept & never seen a salty road

Well maybe bikes are expensive for some but obviously not for others ... Maybe he has a fleet of bikes and that's just one of the well used ones ... B)
