Dominator project.
Here are a couple of pics of the bike I created from a Honda Dominator, haven't got it anymore sadly but it was a cracking machine and would do anything and go anywhere - happy days

Re: Dominator project.
Well I've just ordered a mono shock bearing kit, a braded line for the rear brake and brake caliper rebuild kits for the front and back.
Total price so far about 750 quid B)

I've seen a couple on evil bay so might grab one, I think your right on it being nice to know what's going on.cozmo1589 wrote:Umm I'd say yes it's nice to have however no matter what I put it through that low stressed engine never really changed its temperature much, I'd say better to have it to monitor and it not cause you any concern than to not have one and wonder how it's all holding up whilst being ragged about. They are cheap enough so I'd go for it. This is one of those bikes that you say often to yourself, why did I bloody sell that, it was such a great machine :-/Mad Hatter wrote:I spotted that the other day when I was looking for info, that's a really nice looking bike dude, you did a really good job (thumbs)
I'm really tempted by a rally fairing they look sexy as hell

Are the oil temperature gauges worth it?
Hopefully I'll like it, haven't actually riden one yet, I just like the way they look (ish) and theyre meant to be bloody good bikes so for the price thought id take the chance (thumbs)

Re: Dominator project.
Yeah a bit strange that I buy another bike and get one stolen on the same day
Its going together pretty well so far, getting body work on, or at least trying to
Had to order a new petrol cap as well because this one is fooked so the total is up to 764 quid, if you don't include the various nuts and bolts and farkles that will go on I've already got kicking around.

Re: Dominator project.
Well its looking even more like a bike now
Having to use the old school krauser panniers I got with it as I don't have time to get new ones.
All that's left is fit the fairing, fit the brake calipers after I get the rebuild kits for them and fit the mono shock link bearings, so not much before I get it mot'd (thumbs)
