I stumbled across this today, the 2015 Yamaha Touring Serow...

And if your Japanese is up to it (you can always mute the sound) here's a review.

And Yamaha Japan's website http://www.yamaha-motor.co.jp/mc/sports ... w/touring/

Anyone know anyone in Japan?

Looks great, good find

Let's have it in Europe

50 mph is all you need on backroads and byways
We buy things we don't need

With money we don't have

To impress people we don't even like

We're trying to find if the "Touring" bits are available separately (and outside Japan).

Cracking little bike.
Is it coming to the UK????
Lightness is everything.

Lightness with Grunt is a Scratcher!

An Adventure is not a tank transfer.

TTR 250 was a DOHC 6 speed.
This is a SOHC 5 speed.

Not as many horses but a little bit more user maintenance friendly.

What an excellent approach - proven, light, simple, robust, (probably) cheapish, frugal. Use the money saved on buying a tank and have numerous adventures and more off-the-beaten-track.
Way to go - for meat least. (thumbs)
