When picking up a new gp450, aside from tyre levers and puncture repair kit, what would be the tools (spanner sizes) needed to be able to remove the wheels to fix a puncture on the way home?

Tom
there has been a few saying 32ml rear ..mine is deffo 30ml but id ping a e mail to the factory as there are apparantlt different axle nut sizes out there :silly:
i think the hex drive for the front is 14ml
..im a big fan of slime and always use it on new tubes
..its worked for me very well ..i find punctures when i change the tyre occasionally its pariculary good for small thorns where it will seal the tube without you even knowing you had one until you change the tyre and inflate the tube to check
its not the total cure i know but on balence i know for a fact its well worth banging some in ..its saved me some hassle out on the trail ..id truthfully say at least 5 saves in 5 years i think its worth putting in (thumbs)
whats the wether forcast ..wheres me map

Rear axle nut on mine was 29mm, go figure  So definitely check before you pick it up if you don't go the slime route.
Front axle cap is a 12mm hex head.

Rear axle nut is 30mm on ours, I modified a double-ended ring spanner and carry this in the tool tube for chain adjustments etc.

I think Tom (puncture on the way home) needs a bit of optimism too :)

My CCM will be my first brand new bike since 1974.......for the last 20 years or so I have been travelling on airhead BMWs and have always carried a pretty large collection of tools that have rarely been required.

The possible weak points of the CCM, from reading accounts seem to be Starter motor and some inconsistent behaviour from the lithium battery, any others?

So buying a new bike with lots of magical stuff such as fuel injection, stick coils etc etc, which are all beyond my Knowledge, do I leave most of my tools and multimeter at home when I go off for a few weeks on my CCM, not going that far only France and Spain.
