suzuki dr750 anygood???

hey guys been after an adventure bike for some time now,

i ride a bmw r1150r but i want to go offroading living in the scottish highlands it has to be done.

so i can get running suzuki dr750 project needs end can and really a good clean

just wanted to know a little more about them, whats your view of the bike,

it is becoming a cassic adventure bike

also the price is less than £300

There is not a lot of offroad riding in Scotland, unless you have the landowners specific permission

Suzuki dr 750 for 300 quid is it running? buy it i say, its worth more than that in bits

Great bikes and all I ride these days. Not suited to mud plugging as far too heavy. Great on dry or mildly moist stuff that you can ride it through, but as with any big trailie you don't want to be paddling or wrestling it through stuff better suited to a 250.

Fit crash bars. I dropped mine a couple of times in the Vosges Mountains earlier in the year & the bars saved the tanks (thumbs)

If you are a fan of singles then its a good adventure bike with great range from the 29ltr twin tanks. If they have had a decent life then they are totally reliable. Mine has never missed a beat in thousands of miles on & off road exploring War sites over in France.

£300 is a steal if its a runner.

Hi there I know it runs guys it look ok just needs a tidy up or a resto not sure yet

I am missing the keys and v5 but all frame numbers are present it guy had lost them in the past, and end can and rear light and under tray but other than that seems well I have noticed it has twin coils?

Looks cool though :)
