Definitely do it!
Sorry no personal experience though I remember a couple of years ago when the weather was really pants on the road for a few days - ice patches and snow, and there was no way you could take a two wheeled anything out. I saw this guy with his son in the sidecar positively whizzing down the hill and thought - brilliant.
They really do look amazing!
Cheers

So true, I have had people pointing and laughing at me riding an MZ 250 OutfitSteveW wrote:......pull up at any biker cafe and be prepared to fight off bearded men with a shitty stick.
Embarrass your kids by dropping them off on the school run.
Watch people pointing and laughing (not always with you) as you pass by.
Move from about a 4, straight to an 11 on the eccentric scale as soon as you get on.

Get this instead. It popped up on Gumtree the other day and looks like a laugh, including machine gun!

Re: living with a ural
I've only had a BMW outfit but I know 2 people who've owned Ural ones and the common faults appeared to be brakes, carbs and electrics so not much to worry about there then
Just remember that if you shut the throttle the beast will turn right and the severity of the turn will depend on how well you've set it up. This causes a major problem if you goo into a left hand turn and find you're going too fast as it tightens up because you have to consciously turn into it and then the chair lifts up to compound the problem. They're great fun and one day I'll have another one.
