wk 450 rx
Hi guys and girls,I'm new to all this forum stuff so please bear with me.after reading all the reviews I finally took the plunge and bought the new 2015 wk450rx.at nearly half the cost of the Honda!I'm very pleased with what seems to be a great all round machine, the build quality to be honest is much better than I expected.however I do have one slight problem.the bike has a slight cough/splutter between 14 and 12 throttle,i do have some understanding and have tried the usual,I guess what I need is if anyone knows of a 4 stroke tuner in the Essex area who may be able to help.any advice or recommendation would be greatly appreciated.
Re: wk 450 rx
Take it back to where you bought it. If it's not running right then they've got to rectify the situation and it doesn't matter if it was half the cost of the Honda or double the cost of it.

I'm not quite sure how sending it back works,I'm based in Essex and the bike was purchased from marsh mx in wales, they were doing the best deal at the time, and that included the delivery.

Re: wk 450 rx
i read that mike beddows had the same issue when he borrowed one ..and ive read it before also ....
given that you have a real bargain price ..id be tempted to take it to a dyno shop and get the map dragged and dropped and set up
i guess if your thinking of a aftermarket zorst id do that first
look forward to any updates on the bike as you go along information is pretty sparse from first hand owners
good luck

Re: wk 450 rx
Its been a couple of weeks since I first wrote on the forum about my wk450rx.I initially had a running issue at 1/4 to 1/2 throttle, the bike hesitated and splutterd,it even cut out and stopped completely.I spoke to marsh mx (suppliers of the bike)they gave me a brief explanation as to what could be the cause.(faulty side stand cut out switch)They promptly replaced the unit however this did not cure the fault,I eventually found a chinese scooter specialist in my area who delt with wk bikes and could rectify the problem. What a difference a day makes,I'd just like to say a big thank you to the guys at longbow motorcycles, even though they didn't sell the bike to me they certainly did wk proud as an agent, any work that was needed, completed under warranty, and a PDI that seemed to be lacking from marsh mx.The problem,a severed wire in the loom that must have happened during manufacturing.Had marsh mx started or run the bike this would have been noticed and they could have delt with the problem rather than me.I now have the bike that I should of had originally. Thanks for all the advice guys, heres to many a happy hours of biking.
