ok guys all you dr 350 fanatics,

well since pic was taken at the midlands ABR rally, bike has stood, went to go for a ride last night and would not start, fuel fault.
stripped carb and blew out jets etc put back on, would only tick over with the screw wound right up, runs fine apart from that.
if i turn the fuel off revs rise until it eventually stops, would suspect slow running jet blocked but stripped carb again and definately clean as a whistle, only thing i did was replace the o rings on the fuel tube and float jet pipe as it used to leak if left with fuel turned on, thats seems to be good though !
could be crap fuel, used from an old can in the shed to put a few litres in as was almost dry.
all advice opinions gratefully recieved.

Was it you that put me onto the bike in the beginning?

Re: The Suzuki DR thread.
So today I stripped the front end on my DR650 to check the steering head bearings...
The bearings looked fine so I re-greased them and put it all back together...
Now down to the fun bits, first job was to fit this Bajaworx screen....
I made a slight mod to it by spacing it out at the top with some fuel hose and longer screws...
Next up was a 5.3 gallon Acerbis tank, no more filling up every 100 miles....
and finally a leather Corbin seat, second-hand and won this week on ebay (thumbs)

Hi Bob
Nice link. :cheer: Dorris Mark 2 looks great in that photo. Sorry to say 6 years of Welsh mud and a couple of Pyraneese ups, along with a French trail tour have left her looking a little less than fresh. Still runs like a watch though.
Here is one of Dorris2 cooling down in France
This one is in the Pyraneese :woohoo:
Doing the rounds on Welsh home turf Now the Africa Twin is up together Dorris should be seeing some spanner action to get her tarted up a little
