Hi Rich,

this is what I've got, an speedo box in which the nylon drive has failed , I can't remember how exactly but it's usually the tabs that wear out. I also have a nylon drive wheel which I got from Germany but suspect it originally came from China.

If it's any good to you give me a shout and we'll barter over a price.

cheers, Bob.

Looks good to me dude, as long as the metal work gear moves then its all gravy.

I've still got a fresh nylon drive gear and one that doesn't look too buggered but skips when turned because of the other gear being jammed. It looks a bit like part of the housing has broken off and jammed it :x

How come you got rid of the wee Dr anyway Bob?

I just wanted a change Rich, whether I regret it in the long run we'll see. PM me your address and I'll send it to you, if it fixes up ok then you can decide what it's worth. How does that sound?

That's fair enough mate, everyone gets like that sometimes. I might end up changing mine in the new year depending on how it goes this weekend with the suspension service I've done today along with everything else

I'll send you a pm in a bit.

Morning all, I'm putting my stock tank back on my 96 DR650SE and I need to know where the petcock vacuum pipe connects to the carb (or otherwise) any ideas?

Cheers

Bren

It’s one of those cheap Chinese one from eBay for about £18 delivered I just reshaped the bottom. I was thinking of getting a heat gun to make a lip at the top.
