Thanks Bob :)

I'm very tempted by the Mefos at Zen for the tires but we will see.

I've gone for the clutch cable and pegs.

I'm thinking I might upgrade the power a little rather than buying a whole new bike so a race can and rejetting might be the plan.

Also replacing the indicators.

I've set myself the challenge this winter of learning how to wheelie too...

Brenhden wrote:Hi all,

After my Summer adventure my DR350 is knackered and need/wants the following new things, can you recommend decent parts please.

Front and rear cogs to compliment my new DID chain.

Tires, am happy with K60s but would be tempted with something a little more off road biased.

Clutch cable.

Clutch plates/springs set.

Wider pegs

Grips

Race can, feel free to sell me a used one.

Cheers for any imput
Tyres - try Michelin T63's or Pirelli MT21's

Clutch Cable - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CLUTCH-CABLE- ... 27c5f8c33c

Clutch - most recommend using o/e Suzuki parts

Wider pegs - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WOO-Foot-Pegs ... 5d4c6d8f04 , these are Chinese made copies of IMS pegs, I've used them on every DR I've had.

Grips - heated ones ;)

Race can - I prefer the o/e can, it's nice and quiet so you can sneak up behind Ramblers and they don't even know you're there.
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

There are Chinese ones that fit. The right ones are stamped 21.
They aren't bad, but they will deform if hit hard!

These I think, but 21 is the correct number.

DR350 and DRZ are different Paul, the link that Pinball gave you looks spot-on to me (thumbs)

So I've owned my DR650SE for 3 months now and I really like the bike, time to do some work on it.

First job is the NSU (neutral sending unit), the screws that secure this can come loose and as it lives inside the clutch cover they have the potential to go walkies inside the engine which is not good!

Once you get the clutch cover off you can see the unit in the bottom left-hand corner hiding partly behind the clutch basket...

Image

The bottom screw is easy to get at and it was only finger tight, in this photo I have removed it...

Image

To get at the top screw is very difficult, I tried with my right-angled screwdriver and then a small ratchet but to no avail. So todays job is to have another go, if not I'm going to have to remove the clutch to get at it.

The upper roller was the first thing I did when I got the bike, it's not there anymore (thumbs)
