Re: The Suzuki DR thread.
Thanks guys, I was looking at suggestions of Oil being a possible culprit and I have some new clutch plates to fit. I don`t have room in the Garage to work on it so need to do it in the back garden if the weather improves I will rip it to pieces and see if it helps.

Well all the bits I want for my face lift are here, just need to get started on it now hoping to get out and do some of the TET in Wales in 3 weeks so that's how long I've got to do it and MOT the Dr

Re: The Suzuki DR thread.
Greetings,
A couple of years ago I had similar gear selection problems with my Beta Alp 4.0 which uses the Suzuki 350 engine.
I understood that the possible/probable cause would be a worn thrust washer on the clutch hub so I stripped it all down and replaced the washer and sleeve, job done. The clutch plates were fine so they were simply cleaned and put back together. I made a pdf which shows how I did things and what I found.
I hope that this might help you or somebody else out there

Sad times, I am no longer a DR owner. Waved binko off today.
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

A bit sad but well done. PM me your address, I have pins that will fit the connector on the CRF.
