After my 5 hour M5 return trip I started doing the final prep on Bink for the Spain trip.
I changed the oil and thanks to a freak gust of wind me and my Clymer manual got covered in it
Then fitted this thing I got from ebay, it was sold as a fitting a DR350 but it took some drilling and a trips to the vice... I put it on to take the strain of my tool kit...
Then I remembered to do the air filter, I assumed its would just be a case of rinsing it under a tap but it included me getting covered in a selections of oil based compounds. Glad I did it though, it was pretty grim in the airbox thanks to Salisbury plain Rally. Also I took and age to dry, I used to my hoover in the end to suck the water out of it...
Next I fitted this Phone holder, it also required some tweaking, this time with araldite and extra padding to hold it in place.
Then I fitted all the luggage and begrudgingly a new top bag I was hoping I wouldn't need.
Not a bad afternoons farkling...
Hopefully tomorrow I'll take her for a spin B)
