Re: what have you done to your bike today??
stupid computers
What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about
Re: what have you done to your bike today??
took the tank of the trident ready for painting,
took the head and barrels of and took them in for assessment
to find out why they smoke.
did find a score and indent to the centre liner
looks like in the past it has had a plug electrode fail
and luckily it did not pepper the piston or head
rest looks fine and appears to back up the low milage
cheers vince (thumbs)

i'll take close to that sound
mine sounds as a triple should albeit with cigar exhausts
it pulls like a train every thing points to low mileage
it's only problem was smoking when hot and at traffic lights
probably my wallet is going to take a big hit

Finished off the forks on the DR650, fitted new gators, neoprene fork protectors lined with Corrosion Block grease and generally cleaned and polished everything around them, the whole front end is loads better.
I also wired in a new USB charger, made some custom fitting plates and heat shrunk and waterproofed the cables and connections.
Its was an extremely therapeutic three hours (thumbs)

And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

I think I've finally got my workshop set up and memorised where everything is, it means I do a lot less faffing. That said 10 minutes of those three hours were spent looking for a 25mm drill bit that I had in my hand seconds before...The Spanish Biker wrote: Three hours FFS are you a robot Bren! (thumbs)

Ha ha, if you're an ex-smoker like me it would have been a 'doofer' behind you ear ...
