30,000 mile service up in Sunderland thanks to Muddy Sump. Worth the every mile of the 500 mile round trip, and couldn’t have asked for better weather.

Re: what have you done to your bike today??
Hard week at work Bike came out in sympathy and decided it needed a lie down coming out of the office car park
Car driver that I had to stop for (unfortunately on a steep camber so nothing there when I put my foot down) did help me pick the old girl up mot a mark on her either
Before you try this ... picking up a 200Kg bike in 27 degrees C in full riding kit is not recommended ...

Washed the brake fluid off the back tyre and parked it up in my garage.

Worked this morning , and as it was peeing it down, thought best to keep out of the long haired generals way, sooo in to the garage stripped out head stock on tener lady, greased up the bearings, happy days. Hadn't been done since morroco trip last year, 20,000km later, still good, and had some nasty looking grease left in there. Good for another 20k.....we'll see.
Re: what have you done to your bike today??
checked the valves on the wr.
8k miles, checked at 5k with .05 needed on a couple of the intake valves, checked at 7k... no movement.... this check at 8k... still no movement, happy days. new oil and filters, fire her up.... water pump seal dripping, bugger.
waterpump rebuild kit inbound, 20 quid.
so that a leaky waterpump at around 2k when shaft, seals and bearing was replaced. 6k later and it's gonna cost me another 20 quid
