rewired my satnav waterproof case (same sort of thing as in Brehnden's pic) as the cable had fretted through, now having a Ginsters and coffee break before going back in the man cave and seeing about putting some LED lighting in my topbox

Nice indicators (I had the same on the blue Tenere I stripped) but moody MOT testers might not like them.
I had this thrown at me by my normal tester who said that while he didn't care others might.

So they have to be 300mm apart and 100mm from the headlight. I expect most MOT testers would not pick that up.AndyB wrote:Nice indicators (I had the same on the blue Tenere I stripped) but moody MOT testers might not like them.

Most will pick it up but then it's more about whether they care or not and even the most friendly can have an off day.
It's probably more relevant if you find a policeman who's having an off day and he writes you a rectification slip but I don't think you can get points for it.

Will finish our trip on Routes des Grandes Alps at Menton today. That is with a few diversions due to some Cols in centre section closed to repair winter damage. Did get through one 'closed' Col that was due to open next day. Section to Bourg St Maurice, Cols D'Isere, Madeleine, Galibiare closed so diverted via Gap and Route Napoleon. From there only La Bonette is closed. Still lots of interesting road. Weather good.
