After my 5 hour M5 return trip I started doing the final prep on Bink for the Spain trip.
I changed the oil and thanks to a freak gust of wind me and my Clymer manual got covered in it
Then fitted this thing I got from ebay, it was sold as a fitting a DR350 but it took some drilling and a trips to the vice... I put it on to take the strain of my tool kit...
Then I remembered to do the air filter, I assumed its would just be a case of rinsing it under a tap but it included me getting covered in a selections of oil based compounds. Glad I did it though, it was pretty grim in the airbox thanks to Salisbury plain Rally. Also I took and age to dry, I used to my hoover in the end to suck the water out of it...
Next I fitted this Phone holder, it also required some tweaking, this time with araldite and extra padding to hold it in place.
Then I fitted all the luggage and begrudgingly a new top bag I was hoping I wouldn't need.
Not a bad afternoons farkling...
Hopefully tomorrow I'll take her for a spin B)

changed rear wheel bearings on my f800gs. she just hit 10k miles
before replacing with new ones cleaned bore holes with 2000 grit sandpaper as someone clever found out that original bore hole is 0.005 mm smaller to what it should be, hope they last much longer now. (thumbs)

Bought a Gary Boy racer decal from Halfords to stick on me front mudguard
I went in to get wiper blades for me car, was on the bike though, as I'd guess was rather obvious from me wearing a leather, and carrying a lid...
The YTS lass behind the counter swiped 'em through and asked if I wanted them fitted, and if I'd been feeling devilish I'd have said 'yes - it's the Honda 750 parked just outside there, I'll wait if the fitter's busy though...'
