Bought my 2009 Xt660z Tenere 4 weeks ago, just finished putting it all back together after a strip and re-grease.
Re-spoked the wheel with stainless spokes.
Hope it will get me to Morocco and back in September.

Re: My XT660Z Tenere
Your bike looks in great condition, much better than my 2008 ten.
I also have a super ten which I use for wandering about Europe, but once you get into the poorer countries you start to look like a "fat cat" on the bigger bikes as no one has any money.
So the 660 Ten is the bike of choice.
Not sure what panniers you are using, obviously not the Yamaha ones.
Was at the Scottish bike show and saw the 450 CCM fitted with soft luggage, but security would be a problem.

I travel solo and like to park up at markets in Morocco or go exploring in the rocks, so I'm very much in favour of aluminium panniers. Can't risk stuff going walk-about.
